TRUE WORSHIP!

So, What is True Worship anyway?                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Well, to put it as simply as I can, "TRUE WORSHIP, IS THE ADORING CONTEMPLATION OF GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST! ...TRUE WORSHIP IS ALL I AM, RESPONDING TO ALL THAT GOD IS!"                                                                                                                                                                                                  It is the investment of my entire self into God. My body, my soul, and my Spirit, responding to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit!    It is the involvement of my mind, my emtions, and my will...my whole Heart, lifted to God in Praise, Adoration, and Thanksgiving! Worship is saying with my entire self, what John said is being said in Heaven...in Revelation 5:12, it says "...saying with a loud voice, 'WORTHY, is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches and wisdom and might, and honor and glory and blessing.'"  Worship is more than just going to God in prayer and asking Him for stuff...and its is even more than giving Thanks to God for all He's done....those are elements of worship, but real worship, is more like a Bride who is loving her husband....not only for what He's done, but for WHO HE IS!  Worship is the Bride of Christ, loving on Jesus...with all the forms and elements that go with that.

Remenber, Worship is all that I am, responding to all that He is! May we never take the worship of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for granted, but rather, every time we gather together, may we truly give to Him an offering of our total self.

Maranatha....Pastor Doug.
